As the need to calculate his large merchandise, trip after another to and from Indian subcontinent and beyond, year after year, yet generation after another was the mother of inventing such numerals. It is the same necessity that has led him later on to invent the "Zero" - in completing what he began. It is the Arab who solely has the favour in the Indian's knowing such numerals before at least some hundreds of years before Islam; and solely has the favour in adding the "Zero" later on to their knowledge of his numerals, at coming upon the concept of the decimal positions.
This Arab merchant of India, though he left no materialistic evidence - seemingly - in his own homeland to the proprietary of his invention, nay the reference to his Indo-trade has construed to the "Indo-" of the numerals, even by some of his descendants of Arabs, but the hereditary characters of such numerals has shown - thanks to God - at my hands its belonging to its father: The Arab Merchant of India.
For the reality, and for the favours Arabs had among the human-kind, I went in this research for years considering it an issue of nationalism, before being a profitable work, may God reward me for it.
